As a Relationship Banker at Rockland Trust, you will build and foster strong relationships with customers, delivering an energetic banking experience. You will identify financial needs, process transactions, and offer products or services. The role involves engaging customers, processing transactions, and offering financial solutions. You will also be a trusted advisor and champion for Rockland Trust, developing strong relationships that foster trust.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-4 years of successful experience in a sales and service environment such as retail, hospitality, or financial services.
- Must be or become a Notary Public and NMLS certified.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with ability to operate a wide variety of equipment and mobile devices.
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong sales orientation with ability to balance multiple priorities and ability to adapt approach to different situations as needed.
- Ability to work intuitively and find creative solutions should any problems arise.
- Ability to work within normal office requirements, with long periods of standing inside and outside of a branch environment and continuous customer contact.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness and ability to work within a flexible work week, which may include weekends, as customer needs dictate.
- Ability to successfully complete our training program.
