The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the maintenance function to ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently. This role coordinates and directs the work of maintenance technicians, housekeepers, and groundskeepers, providing guidance, training, and quality oversight while maintaining high standards of safety, timeliness, and professionalism.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of property maintenance experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and CPO systems.
- Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform maintenance duties that require standing, walking, or climbing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- Tool requirement - Must provide required tools within 30 days of employment.
