We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Collins Aerospace. As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining factory test equipment, evaluating test yield and trends, and engaging with test engineering and design engineering to resolve factory test yield issues. You will also aid test technicians with troubleshooting complex failures and drive improvements to factory test equipment. Additionally, you will generate test plans for sublevel assemblies to be sold as spares and develop and maintain manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Test Stand and Data Analytics (TDMS)
- Disposition non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Specialized Tooling Development (Jigs, Fixtures, Specialized Packaging Development)
- Knowledge and ability to apply CORE principles and techniques
- Experience in DFMA principles
- Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
