We are seeking a knowledgeable Parts Counter associate to assist customers in solving parts problems in person or by telephone, identify proper parts numbers, check availability, recommend and sell parts as a service and as requested by customer.
Requirements
- Greet customers and determine needs
- Prioritize work day to meet customer needs
- Edit customers’ orders
- Expedite backorders with branches and manufacturers
- Always advise customers of order status
- Assist warehouse and shop parts as required
- Possess excellent organizational skills
- Maintain parts counter library
- Participate in factory training
- Assist clerk with reconciling purchase order number to invoices
- Display working knowledge of authorized password options
- Contribute at monthly parts meetings
- Ability to establish credibility quickly
- Must be decisive and able to recognize and support the organization's goals and priorities
