Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable Parts Counter associate to assist customers in solving parts problems and recommend and sell parts as a service. This position requires in office presence and excellent organizational skills.
Requirements
- Greet customers and determine needs.
- Prioritize work day to meet customer needs.
- Edit customers' orders.
- Expedite backorders with branches and manufacturers.
- Always advise customers of order status.
- Assist warehouse and shop parts as required.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Maintain parts counter library.
- Participate in factory training.
- Assist clerk with reconciling purchase order number to invoices.
- Display working knowledge of authorized password options.
- Contribute at monthly parts meetings.
- Ability to establish credibility quickly. Must be decisive and able to recognize and support the organization's goals and priorities.
