Specialist, Carrier Representative

Role Overview

As a Specialist, Carrier Procurement at RXO, you will source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will cultivate strong core carrier relationships, maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers, and ensure a high-quality freight movement process.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day will involve negotiating and securing carriers, scheduling pickup and delivery appointment times, tracking back-end billing and invoicing, and accurately maintaining and updating information in the company's operating systems.

We're looking for someone with 1 year of procurement experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and the ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits.

Requirements

• 1 year of procurement experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of transportation experience
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits
