The Application Support Engineer I combines hands-on application support with engineering-focused troubleshooting across enterprise platforms. Engineers will resolve production issues, support business operations, and gain exposure to system behavior, data flows, and application architecture. This is an entry-level role designed to develop future application engineers.
Requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve well-defined application incidents and service requests using documented procedures.
- Perform data corrections, user support, and basic configuration updates within established guidelines.
- Follow runbooks and knowledge articles to diagnose issues and implement standard fixes.
- Escalate issues that are not clearly defined or require deeper system changes, while assisting in resolution by gathering logs, reproducing issues, and providing detailed documentation and analysis.
- Assist in debugging efforts by gathering logs, reproducing issues, and supporting testing activities.
- Identify recurring issues and flag patterns to senior engineers for further investigation.
