Staff Engineer (Advanced Manufacturing)

As a Staff Engineer (Advanced Manufacturing) at S&C Electric, you'll work on projects that have real-world impact, helping to transform the grid for resilient and reliable power worldwide. You'll advance a safer, more reliable, and more resilient electrical grid, using your expertise in manufacturing engineering strategies and tools to drive design and implementation of manufacturing systems. You'll also be responsible for leading project teams, managing budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering degree with equivalent experience
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in designing and implementing processes within a high-volume, high-mix or semi automated manufacturing environment
• Expertise in manufacturing engineering strategies and tools with extensive knowledge in value stream mapping, lean six sigma, DFMA, and manufacturing systems design
• Proven record of leading projects with challenging scope, schedule and cost targets from concept through validation and sustainment
• Adept business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex systems to identify high impact opportunities, guide informed decisions, solve challenging issues, and leverage data and learnings to drive continuous improvement
