The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with global software development teams to enhance application reliability, performance, and scalability across S&P Global's enterprise data platforms, and provide expert production support and incident resolution. Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps and Software Engineering experience with proven track record in cloud infrastructure management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git, GitLab, or similar, and CI/CD pipeline technologies including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Strong database management skills including SQL querying and experience with database technologies (document-oriented databases such as MongoDB, CouchDB, or DynamoDB preferred)
- Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions such as Grafana, PagerDuty, Datadog, or similar industry-standard tools
