Lead Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

Join the S&P Global Enterprise Data Organization team as a Lead Cloud Engineer to support and expand cloud infrastructure, monitoring and alerting frameworks, onboarding/migration projects, and interact with the wider QA and Development team.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with software development teams to improve application reliability, performance, and scalability. Provide BAU Production support, develop scripts in Python/Unix shell scripting/AWS Lambda, design and implement infrastructure using GitHub/CI/CD/Terraform on AWS cloud platform, and set up and configure monitoring solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant DevOps and Software Engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications
• Proven experience working with AWS cloud technologies, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Git/Unix/Linux/PL/SQL skills
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as PagerDuty, Splunk
