Job description
The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with global software development teams to enhance application reliability, performance, and scalability across S&P Global's enterprise data platforms. The role will operate in a hybrid environment with global reach, valuing technical excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.
The Cloud Engineer will provide expert production support and incident resolution, develop automation solutions, design and implement cloud infrastructure, manage database operations, and configure monitoring and alerting frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of DevOps and Software Engineering experience, hands-on experience with cloud platforms, and proficiency in version control systems and CI/CD pipeline technologies.
