Job description
The Lead II - Cloud Engineer will support and expand our cloud infrastructure, monitoring and alerting frameworks, onboarding/migration projects, and interact with the wider DevOps, QA, and development teams. The role requires proven Cloud experience with development and operational skills to deliver secure and structured automated solutions to operational tasks.
Collaborate with software development teams to improve application reliability, performance, security, and scalability. Provide BAU Production support, and resolve issues either spotted by monitoring or reported by users before causing business impact. Develop scripts in Terraform, Python, and Unix shell scripting to automate tasks and streamline processes.
We're looking for someone with 9+ years of relevant Cloud and Software Engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, and relevant certifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AWS cloud technologies, GitHub, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
