Lead DevOps Engineer role in S&P Global Enterprise Data Organization team, responsible for supporting and expanding cloud infrastructure, monitoring and alerting frameworks, and interacting with DevOps, QA, and development teams. Requirements include 7+ years of DevOps and software engineering experience, AWS cloud technologies, GitHub, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. The role involves collaborating with software development teams, providing BAU production support, and designing infrastructure using Terraform on AWS cloud platform.
Requirements
- 7+ years of DevOps and Software Engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with AWS cloud technologies, GitHub, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiar with Database and Database query.
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions/logging solutions such as PagerDuty/Splunk and other industry-standard tools.
- Lunix and networking knowledge.
- Good understanding of AWS network configurations such as Routing, DNS, Load Balancing, IAM, security group
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying, resolving issues and raising improvement opportunities
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including experience speaking to technical and business audiences.
