Product Engineering Manager - mainstream

Samtec, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on developing technology solutions for their elite customers. The role involves optimizing engineering processes, developing product designs, and ensuring cradle-to-grave lifecycle ownership. The manager will collaborate with marketing, sales, purchasing, and other departments to analyze opportunities and develop engineering solutions.

Requirements

• 7 – 10+ Years’ Experience in a Management role of designing high speed cable and connector/ fine-pitch connector.
• Must be a self-starter with strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in relating to both internal and external customers.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in engineering design software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Experience in simulation software (FEA, CFD/thermal modeling, etc.) is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel for up to 4 weeks per year.
