Commercial Gas Engineer

Sanctuary provide in-house repairs and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of properties across Sanctuary organisations. We have an opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team based in Rochford, covering the South East Area.

Requirements

• Diagnosing and repairing faults on commercial gas appliances, boilers, plant rooms, and heating systems
• Carrying out commissioning, decommissioning, and testing of commercial gas systems
• Installing commercial boilers, heating systems, burners, pipework, and associated mechanical components
• Completing gas safety checks, CP15/CP16 certificates, and other compliance documentation
• Following safe systems of work, including risk assessments and method statements, and maintaining accurate records
• Providing clear updates to customers and stakeholders on work progress
• Identifying improvement opportunities and advising on system efficiency and upgrades
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicle to company standards
• Analyzing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
• Using and updating computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
