Job Description
We are looking for a Lift Station Technician for Sarasota County. The job involves installing, replacing, repairing, and modifying mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, pump valves, regulators, and control panels. The job also includes operating crane trucks, reading and following color codes, wiring diagrams, and schematics, and providing technical guidance and training to other employees.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Class A CDL with air brake endorsement within six months at the time of hire
- Three years of experience in applicable trades, including work in the water/wastewater collection field and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
