Group Facilitator

SBCS is seeking a Group Facilitator to provide evidence-based groups to youth in the Youth Development Academy at East Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility. The Group Facilitator will facilitate daily groups, maintain case records, and participate in team meetings. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2+ years of experience working with at-risk youth, and strong public speaking skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, criminal justice, social work, or closely related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with at-risk youth and their families
• Group facilitation experience, preferred
• Ability to work with a diverse population, possess cultural sensitivity, and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients
