Youth & Family Development Associate

We are seeking a Youth & Family Development Associate to provide services to SBCS' youth on probation and the community who may be at-risk for future or continued involvement in the juvenile justice system. The successful candidate will be responsible for case management, crisis intervention, safety planning, and other services related to the program's goals and objectives. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and Program Director and be directly accountable to the Program Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, criminal justice, social work, or closely related field
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience working with vulnerable and at-risk youth and families
• Effective communication and listening skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy standards
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows
