Body Systems Engineer, Battery Structures

Scout Motors is a company that is carrying forward the heritage of one of the most iconic American vehicles in history. The company is looking for a Body Systems Engineer, Battery Structures to join their team in Novi, Michigan. The role will be responsible for the battery structures for all new products, creating CAD-Data, optimizing CAD-Data, and ensuring designs conform to safety standards and U.S. government regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, engineering management or a relevant field
• 4+ years of experience in body mechanical areas and relevant automotive assignments
• Expert in CATIA V5
• Strong technical skills and expertise to problem-solving
• Ability to lead simultaneous engineering teams
• Good knowledge of MS Office products
• Familiarity with computer-aided engineering (CAE)
