The Associate Quality Engineer supports cross-functional teams by applying total quality methodologies related to raw material management, fabrication activities, training, and logistical support.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree (BS) in a technical field and a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in quality problem-solving
- Strong working knowledge of quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, etc.)
- Automotive industry experience preferred
- Experience with formal problem-solving methodologies and quality improvement tools
- Proficiency working in computer-based environments, including business systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with ISO and/or IATF 16949 quality management systems
- Familiarity with IMDS systems
- Knowledge of statistical concepts including SPC, Gage R&R, and MSA
