Job Description
SEEK is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to provide senior technical leadership in the Automat team, leading the design, evolution, and operation of our Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure and shaping how SEEK engineers build, deploy, and run their services.
Requirements
- Proficient in creating and maintaining software in two or more modern languages, preferably Golang.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including SDLC, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Platform engineering experience building and scaling distributed systems at enterprise scale.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes for platform building, including experience working with operators, controllers, or developer tooling.
- Proven technical leadership driving architectural decisions and strategy across multi-team or multi-tenant platforms.
- Infrastructure as Code mastery with Terraform and Helm, plus experience with GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipeline design.
