Job Description
In-Shape Solutions is seeking an Aqua Instructor to encourage members to pursue holistic fitness through group fitness and recreational sports programs. Instructors/Coaches monitor members' needs, create engaging workout experiences, and deliver motivating instruction. This role may involve teaching live or virtual classes and working with all ages.
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- National certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.) or format specific training (i.e. Les Mills, Zumba, Keiser, U-Jam Fitness, etc.)
- Must complete online and in-person internal training requirements to teach paid programming
- Lifeguard certification required to teach any aqua programming
- Validated access to paid programming
- 2+ years of team sports experience
- Strong motivational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Trustline Registered
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Current CPR/pass certification within 60 days of hire
