Job Description
InShape Solutions is seeking an Instructor or Coach to encourage members to pursue a holistic fitness approach through group classes, recreational sports, and club amenities. The role involves motivating members, promoting events, providing instruction, maintaining a safe environment, and contributing to a sense of belonging within the club. Qualified candidates will have valid certifications related to fitness classes or sports and the ability to coach members. This role offers a flexible work environment with potential for growth and professional development.
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- National certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.) for class teaching and potential paid programming
- Lifeguard certification (Aqua programming)
- 2+ years of team sports experience (for sports classes)
- Valid USAPTA, USTA Net Generation, USAPA, IPTPA, or US Masters certification (for competitive classes)
- Strong motivational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Trustline Registered to coach children
- Willingness to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Bilingual skills (a plus)
