Behavior Support Specialist

Seneca's School Partnership Programs is hiring for a Behavior Support Specialist to guide grades K-8 to success at Caliber Beta Academy in El Sobrante, CA. The role involves working collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide a holistic, humanizing, and empowering learning environment for students. The Behavior Support Specialist will administer intensive intervention programs to identified students and have the opportunity to coach, model, and develop opportunities for school staff.

Requirements

• Work collaboratively within a transdisciplinary team
• Build therapeutic relationships with students
• Support the assessment, planning, and implementation of specialized student plans
• Plan, lead and coach student group activities
• Support Positive Behavior Intervention Systems (PBIS)
• Provide direct coaching for teachers and support staff
• Deliver direct behavioral intervention
• Complete required data collection and service documentation
• Communicate effectively with families and others involved in students' daily life
