Job Description
The SA Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) Counselor provides activities and services to adults and adolescents in recovery, assisting them in building skills and maintaining stability. This role involves counseling, crisis response, case management, medication management, and support for a range of needs including physical and mental health issues. The counselor acts as a model of professional conduct and ensures the safety and well-being of individuals and their families.
Requirements
- NC License in a relevant discipline (CCS, LDAC-A, CDAC, or dependent)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic mathematical skills
- Understanding of mental health and related symptomology
- Knowledge of medication administration and documentation
- Ability to work as a team member
- Reliable transportation
