Field Technical Service Representative - level 4 (Production Print) manages a territory of Sharp production print systems, delivering a high level of customer satisfaction through proper communications and maintenance of equipment.
Requirements
- Services and maintains a full territory independently providing on-site support installations and service repair and scheduled maintenance of production print equipment.
- Possess a full working knowledge of a product line including theory of operation and mechanics.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the production print portfolio, providing solutions to complex service issues, field, and/or remote troubleshooting support to FSRs.
- Conduct technical training as needed for FSRs.
- Develop strong working relationships with customers, actively taking part in support activities to achieve quick and effective problem resolution.
- Assist with sales engagements and product demonstrations as needed.
- Maintain close communication with the Branch Service Manager, Region Engineer, and the Technical Phone Support team to ensure correct resolution of service issues.
- Monitor spare parts stocks providing guidance on how best to maintain parts inventory and usage.
- Complete and submit service activity information and paperwork timely to the proper group/department.
- Attend training classes as required to stay current on both new and existing products.
- Partners with fellow workers and management to achieve Branch service goals.
- After-hours availability as needed for installations, service calls and training.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Branch Field Service Manager.
