Sigma is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their award-winning team, supporting an increasing customer base globally. As a founding team member in Australia, you will help establish and scale the company's presence in the region.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise data or analytics products
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, databases, and business intelligence
- Advanced SQL proficiency (JOINs, partitions, window functions, aggregations, CTEs, subqueries)
- Experience troubleshooting SQL performance and understanding query plans
- Proficiency in data modeling concepts
- Ability to translate data into clear and logical visualizations
- Proven ability to build trust with customers and resolve issues with confidence and ownership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working cross-region with US- and UK-based teams
- A strong desire to build scalable processes and operate as a self-starter in a growing environment
- Highly collaborative, accountable, and energized by building something new
