Director of Sales, Canada

Silvus Technologies is seeking a Director of Sales, Canada to report to the Senior Director of Sales on the Sales team. The successful individual in this role will focus on interfacing with customers to create, advance and close opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (ideally in Engineering) from an accredited university; OR a Technical college diploma with at least 6 years of relevant technical sales and leadership experience.
• Demonstrated record of success in Canadian Government or military sales, particularly with a technical product and / or prior Canadian military and / or Canadian Law Enforcement experience with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility.
• Solid understanding of Canadian federal markets including procurement processes.
• Strong communication (oral, written, presentation) and technical demonstration skills.
• Experience utilizing strategic account management practices.
• Ability to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to customers.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives.
