Job Description
The Life Skills Coach position in the Abingdon, MD area is seeking a part-time individual to provide high-quality home and community services to Veterans with neurological disorders, physical disabilities, or traumatic brain injuries. This role involves delivering quality client care, supporting and ensuring effective resource engagement, completing accurate documentation, and data generation. Coaches collaborate with Case Managers and family members to deliver dynamic social, recreational, wellness, educational, and individualized life skills training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Experience with physical and cognitive impairments/disabilities
- Experience with Traumatic Brain Injury
- Experience with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Veteran/Military Experience
- Valid driver’s license and agency-required auto liability insurance (100k/300k Bodily Injury)
- Reliable transportation
- Access to a private computer
