Ingénieur, géotechnique

Geotechnical Engineer participates in multidisciplinary teams in the design of mine waste management facilities. Responsible for tasks such as inspections of waste parks, reviews of dike stability, and other studies related to design and behavior of mine waste facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or geology and master's degree in geotechnics
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec
• 5 to 10 years of experience in designing dams and barrages
• Proficiency in French and English
• Knowledge of slope stability, flow, and deformation-constraint software
• Experience in dynamic analysis and seismicity
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in a mining environment would be an asset
