Senior Power System Studies Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Power System Studies Engineer to join our team in Birmingham, Glasgow, or Epsom. The successful candidate will lead and deliver complex power system studies, build strong relationships with clients, and contribute to business development activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Chartered Engineer status desirable
• Extensive experience in power system studies across transmission, distribution, and industrial networks
• Experience with one of the transmission owners (National Grid, Scottish and Southern Energy Networks, Scottish Power) is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in power system analysis tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD, or similar
• Proven track record of client engagement and successful proposal development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
