Cook

The Cook assists the Kitchen Manager in food preparation, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Duties include washing, peeling, cutting, and preparing various food items, as well as cleaning, cooking, and cooking equipment. The cook will follow recipes and demonstrate willingness to take on any task.

Requirements

• Capable of reading kitchen prep books and manuals.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Proficient use of restaurant equipment (convection ovens, grills, fryers, smokers, steam tables, microwaves, etc.).
• Food Handler’s Permit where applicable.
• Ability to perform standing jobs and lifting up to 30 pounds.
