Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading business process design, system configuration, and end-to-end functional implementation of D365 F&O solutions.
Requirements
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and identify gaps between standard D365 functionality and business needs.
- Configure and parameterize F&O modules, with a focus on Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash & Bank, Budgeting) and Supply Chain (Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Production, WMS).
- Perform fit-gap analysis, prepare functional design documents, and work with technical teams to design solutions and integrations.
- Collaborate with finance leadership, including CFOs and finance teams, to ensure accounting processes (financial reporting, compliance, audit requirements, reconciliations, and consolidations) are accurately mapped into D365 F&O.
- Support data migration activities using the Data Management Framework (DMF), ensuring accuracy and completeness of master and transactional data.
- Develop test cases, lead unit and UAT testing, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Deliver end-user training sessions and create user-friendly documentation to support adoption.
- Provide input on change management and process improvement initiatives to facilitate smooth transition.
- Partner with developers to validate technical designs, integrations, extensions, and customizations.
- Ensure security roles, workflows, and compliance requirements are properly configured and documented.
- Communicate progress, risks, and issues effectively with project stakeholders, including executive leadership.
