Job Description
Sparkles! Early Learning Academy is seeking a motivated and energetic Lead Teacher to join their team at one or more of their Fair Oaks locations. The role involves providing and maintaining a developmentally appropriate program, developing curriculum, managing daily operations, and ensuring adherence to state and county regulations. The Lead Teacher will directly supervise staff and children, and be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
- CDA, Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- 2+ years' experience in a child care setting.
- Familiarity with state and county child care regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Infant and Child CPR/First Aid certification.
- Must be able to lift, hold, or carry up to 35 pounds and routinely move furniture and equipment.
- Must be able to sit on the floor or child-sized furniture for a sustained period of time.
- Must be able to respond to emergency situations in a prompt and professional manner.
- MAT certification a plus.
- Bilingual a plus
