Job Description
The Echo Technologist performs various cardiac testing, calculates acquired data, and prepares studies for medical staff interpretation. The role requires 3 years of relevant experience in echo technologies and a CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree from an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant experience in two-dimensional, doppler, color doppler, transesophageal echocardiology (TEE), transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echos, and understanding of complex congenital heart disease and surgical repairs
- CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or CRT-Cardiac Sonographer, registered (RCS) within 180 days
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or ARC within 90 days
