Food Service - Assistant Operations Manager at the USS Bowfin

Assist in the management of food service operations at the USS Bowfin, including overseeing staff training, financial forecasts, and ensuring a positive working relationship with clients. Coordinate with the General Manager and Food Service Operations Manager to implement operational systems and policies. Perform daily functions of food services and programs, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and promote inclusive and supportive approach within the team.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with an understanding of team building/development
• Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills
• Demonstrates financial management, merchandising, analytical, planning and leadership skills
• Computer knowledge and skill level for basic office functions
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbs)
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays
