Virtual Patient Observation Attendant, Part Time Evenings, On Site

The Virtual Patient Observation Attendant observes patients via technology under the direction of a registered nurse, ensuring a safe environment and reporting behavior changes and patient requests. Must have a high school graduate or equivalent, complete mandatory education and competencies, and work up to 8 hours a day. The role involves sitting, standing, lifting up to 10 pounds, and being able to hear and see normal conversation and high/low frequencies.

Requirements

• Reports on/off duty to the registered nurses assigned to care for patients
• Remains in visual contact with patients at all times via designated IT technology platform
• Identifies self to patients and/or family members or significant others
• Reports behavior changes and patient requests to patient's assigned nurses
