Job Description
The EHS Specialist will work as an on-site employee in Stanfield, NC, USA, to ensure the plant's compliance with State and Federal regulations and procedures concerning environment, health, and safety. They will provide industrial athletic and ergonomic training, manage employee health programs, and conduct individual and group training sessions on Environmental/Safety for all employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Associate, or certifications in a related field of study
- 3 - 5 years' experience in EHS capacity
- Certified in 1st Aid, CPR & AED
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of Federal, State & Local Environmental Health & Safety/OSHA Regulations
- Ability to develop, implement, and measure safety training and effectiveness
- Ability to work with Computers—proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Smartsheet
