Job Description
The Mental Health Technician Trainee position offers training in providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities. It will last approximately 6-12 months with instruction in basic nursing practices and resident rehabilitation plan management. The position will be on a continuous basis with variable shifts and requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work after business hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to utilize office equipment, including personal computers.
- Ability to travel in performance of job duties.
- Ability to pass a standard Physical Agility testing.
- Ability to pass the IDHS background check.
