Job Description
Construction Maintenance Techn I position responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings, grounds, and other state and federal owned property and resources. Performs carpentry work, installs and repairs flooring systems, interior walls, ceiling grid and tile, partitions, windows, screens, and other fixtures. Assists licensed tradesman with general maintenance duties and implements policies and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in one or more of the building trades or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in the construction trade
- Basic knowledge of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades
