Safety Internship

Steel Dynamics is a leading industrial metals solutions company offering a Safety Internship at their Sinton, TX facility. The internship is a summer opportunity for students to support the facility's safety team, participate in employee training, and develop safety programs.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a safety related major
• Preferred GPA of at least 2.7
• Willingness to conduct safety audits and inspections in an industrial environment
• Foundational knowledge of OSHA standards and general industry safety regulations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, prioritize tasks, and recommend solutions
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, objectivity, and confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
