Safety Internship

Steel Dynamics is offering an internship opportunity for a Safety Intern at their MetalTech Division in Pittsburgh, PA. The intern will support the facility's safety team, participate in employee training and safety events, and assist with the development and implementation of safety programs.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a safety related major
• Preferred GPA of at least 2.7
• Foundational knowledge of OSHA standards and general industry safety regulations
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, objectivity, and confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
