Safety Internship

Steel Dynamics is a leading industrial metals solutions company offering a 8-10 week internship in the Safety Department at its New Millennium Hope Division in Hope, AR. The internship focuses on safety and includes responsibilities such as assisting with continuous improvement initiatives, participating in employee training and safety events, and conducting safety audits and inspections.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a safety related major
• Preferred GPA of at least 2.7
• Foundational knowledge of OSHA standards and general industry safety regulations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, prioritize tasks, and recommend solutions
