Plant Operator

We are seeking a Plant Operator to assist in the day-to-day operation of the plant for the receipt, treatment, and disposal of clinical waste, ensuring maximum plant availability and productivity.

Requirements

• Unloading of vehicles and trailers
• Effective manoeuvring of waste on the plant and weighing of containers
• Ensuring waste containers are emptied, cleaned, and ready for collection
• Coordinating paperwork and reception of deliveries
• Overseeing safe handling of waste containers
• Operating a fork lift truck (if required)
• Participating in plant shutdowns
• Maintaining company operational records and data
• Complying with safety procedures and observing safety notices
