Job Description
Stericycle is seeking a Plant Operator to assist in the day-to-day operation of the plant for the receipt, treatment, and disposal of clinical waste, ensuring maximum plant availability and productivity while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Unloading of vehicles and trailers
- Effective manoeuvring of waste on the plant and weighing of containers
- Ensuring waste containers are emptied, cleaned, and ready for collection
- Coordinating paperwork and reception of deliveries
- Safe handling of waste containers
- Operating a fork lift truck (if required)
- Participating in plant shutdowns
- Maintaining operational records and data
- Observing and complying with safety notices and signs
- Attending training courses as required
