STUDENT-Aural Skills Peer Tutor

Ithaca College is hiring a part-time STUDENT-Aural Skills Peer Tutor to provide tutoring services to students in aural skills and music theory. The role involves approximately 4-5 hours per week, with additional appointments. Candidates should have a passion for education and be excellent communicators. Tutoring may also include occasional tutoring in music theory.

Requirements

• Outstanding academic achievement (GPA)
• Outstanding aural skills and music theory courses (A's or A-)
• Current enrollment in Aural Skills IV and Music Theory III
• Formal or informal experience teaching/tutoring
• Excellent communication skills
• Personal qualities conducive to one-on-one conferences
