STUDENT-Music Theory Peer Tutor

Ithaca College's student employment program is offering a part-time position for a Music Theory Peer Tutor. The tutor will provide tutoring in music theory, aural skills, and regularly assist with aural skills as needed, focusing on a 4-5 hour per week schedule. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are highly valued.

Requirements

• Outstanding academic achievement (GPA)
• Outstanding achievement in music theory and aural skills courses
• Current enrollment in Music Theory III and Aural Skills IV
• Formal or informal experience teaching/tutoring aural skills and music theory
• Excellent communication skills
• Personal qualities conducive to one-on-one conferences
• Completed application with resume and cover letter
