Job Description
STV is looking for a Senior Transit Architectural Designer to join their team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will work on innovative projects that shape the future of transportation and communities, and will have experience in transit architecture design, project management, and collaboration with various disciplines.
Requirements
- Professional Degree in Architecture (M. Arch preferred)
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience as a project architect working within the rail/transit sector
- Experience in the transportation sector is required
- Transit Architecture design experience including station and related facilities is required
- Registered Licensed Architect in the State of New York is preferred
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite are required
- Experience with OpenBuildings, Rhino, 3-D Max, Sketch-up, and LEED Accreditation is a plus
- Excellent design, technical detailing, and strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual, are essential
- The candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for problem-solving, an understanding that project success comes through teamwork, and a firm focus on client needs
