Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team and help us with designing and developing electronic enclosures and product housings. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design of electronic enclosures or electromechanical products
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Proven ability to generate complete 2D manufacturing data packages
• Working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining and laser cutting processes
• Experience managing mechanical suppliers
• Experience performing or coordinating thermal simulations and physical thermal tests
• Experience with injection moulding design constraints and tooling process
• Experience with prototyping methods
• Experience with SVN or similar version control systems
• Background in or exposure to automotive or industrial electronics product development
• Familiarity with PCB mechanical integration requirements
