Requirements
- Reports to the Manager, Oncology Center
- Conducts a nutrition assessment for all patients identified at nutritional risk
- Develops a nutrition plan of care
- Participates in multidisciplinary rounds
- Provides education to various departments on nutrition related topics
- Researches and develops programs for dietetic interns
- Participates in research projects and nutrition related programs
- Works with outside agencies in obtaining ongoing assistance for patients as appropriate
- Maintains hospital and departmental policies, procedures, objectives, process improvement
- Inventory and order office and tube feeding supplies
- Monitors and directs foodservice personnel
- Formulates special recipes or plans to meet the specific needs of patients
- Promotes guest relations and customer service
- Promotes the value of the DMC
